Using this website does not make you a client

Using this website, filling out a form, or talking with the chat assistant does not create an attorney-client relationship with the firm. That relationship begins only when the firm has agreed to represent you. Until then, please do not send us confidential details about your family, your finances, or your health through the website or the chat. If you have something sensitive to discuss, please call us at (405) 364-2246.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a Right Fit Call, ask for our free guide, ask about a workshop, or sign up for our newsletter, we collect what you enter in the form. Depending on the form, that is your name, email address, phone number, and a short message. Some newsletter forms ask only for your email address. Each form also records which form you used, and on some pages which printed code or link brought you there, so we know how you found us.

Messages to the chat assistant. If you use the chat assistant, we receive the messages you type.

If you contact us directly. When you call, email, or write to us, we receive whatever you choose to share.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the servers that deliver this site receive the technical information your browser sends with every request, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page you asked for. We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors find and use this site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, and the general location and type of device you use, and reports it to us in summary form.

How we use information

• To respond to your request and arrange a Right Fit Call or a workshop seat.
• To send the guide, newsletter, or event notices you asked for.
• To answer the questions you ask the chat assistant.
• To understand how the website is used and make it better.
• To keep the website secure and to meet our legal and professional obligations.

The chat assistant

The chat assistant is an automated tool. It is not an attorney and not a member of our staff, and it gives general information only, not legal advice.

When you send a message, it is processed by an AI service provider to answer your question. Your conversation is kept in your own browser for the current visit so the assistant can follow along, and it clears when you close the tab. This website does not save a copy of chat conversations on our own systems.

Please do not type Social Security numbers, account numbers, health information, or other confidential details into the chat.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., to measure the results of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. When you visit this website, the Meta Pixel sets cookies and sends Meta the pages you view and whether you completed one of our forms. It does not send Meta the name, email address, phone number or message you type into a form. Meta may use this information to show our advertising to you or to people like you, under its own privacy policy. Google Analytics, when it is in use, sets cookies as described above, and the chat assistant uses your browser’s session storage to hold the current conversation.

You can block or delete cookies, and clear stored site data, through your browser’s settings. The site will still work.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run this website and our practice, and only so they can do that work for us:

• our website hosting and security provider, which delivers the pages you view;
• the AI service provider that answers chat messages;
• Google, which serves the fonts used on this site (so your browser connects to Google’s servers) and provides Google Analytics;
• the online scheduling service that runs our workshop registration pages;
• the services we use to manage inquiries and send email.
• Meta, through the Meta Pixel described above, to measure and target our advertising;

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect the rights and safety of the firm, our clients, or others.

We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Apart from the website activity the Meta Pixel sends to Meta, as described above, we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Your choices

• Email. You can stop receiving our emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us.
• Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings.
• Meta advertising. You can control how Meta uses your activity for advertising in your Meta ad preferences.
• Google Analytics. You can stop Google Analytics from using your visits by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Your information. You can ask us what information we hold about you from this website, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us below. We will respond as the law and our professional obligations allow.

This website links to other sites, including our social media profiles, our Google reviews, and our workshop scheduling pages. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to read them.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information through this website, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the information we receive, and this website is delivered over an encrypted connection. No website or internet transmission is completely secure, which is one more reason to share confidential details with us by phone or in person rather than through the website.
