The Lifetime Protection Plan™

A plan that stays right for the rest of your life

An estate plan is not a document you sign once. It is a relationship that keeps your family protected as the law changes, your assets grow, and your life unfolds. That is the idea behind Estate Planners for Life™.

How the right plan is chosen

Your attorney recommends. You choose.

You do not have to work out which plan you need. Once we understand your family, your assets and your goals, your attorney recommends the plan or plans that will work for you, you choose from those options, and we guide you through the process.

Most estate plans fail for one reason. They are never maintained.

A plan built five years ago rarely matches the family, the assets, or the law of today. We solve that with a lifetime relationship, and a choice of plans built for exactly where your family is.

Fits most familiesWhere most families belong

Lifetime Protection Plan

Families who want a plan that stays right for the rest of their lives, not just the day it is signed.

The Lifetime Protection Plan is a relationship, not a transaction. We design a coordinated plan around your family, then keep it current as the law, your assets, and your life change, so it actually works the day it is needed. It fits a straightforward estate, a home, a retirement account, life insurance, two cars and a couple of bank accounts, and it fits a complicated one just as well. This is the heart of Estate Planners for Life™.

  • A coordinated plan that evolves as life changes
  • Ongoing guidance and maintenance through our membership program
  • Your values and intentions communicated clearly to the next generation
  • Confidence that your plan will function exactly when your family needs it

Lifetime Protection Plan Plus

The same plan, built out for an estate with more moving parts. When there is an operating business, farm or ranch land, several real-estate holdings, significant mineral interests, or a blended family with competing loyalties, the design work goes deeper. It is not a different relationship, only a bigger one.

  • Business and multi-business succession planning
  • Farm, ranch, and mineral-interest protection
  • Multiple real-estate holdings coordinated in one plan
  • Strategies for complex or blended family dynamics

When care is the worry

Elder Protection Plan

Families approaching or in retirement who are worried about the cost of care.

Long-term care can consume a lifetime of savings. This plan is built to preserve and protect, guiding families through Medicaid eligibility, nursing-home costs, and protecting the home, so a spouse is cared for and an inheritance still reaches the children.

  • Planning for long-term-care and nursing-home costs
  • Medicaid eligibility done correctly and in time
  • Protecting the home as the family's primary asset
  • Caring for a spouse while preserving an inheritance

For a household with minor children and growing assets

Family Protection Plan

A household protecting each other and the children, at any age.

A young family naming guardians, or an older client with fewer assets who still needs a trust for a particular reason. Both are this plan. The documents are built to work together rather than to sit in a drawer contradicting one another.

  • Guardianship for minor children handled with care
  • A trust where a trust is genuinely the right tool
  • Beneficiary designations coordinated with the plan itself

A straightforward strategy for a simple estate

Personal Protection Plan

One person putting their own affairs in order, clearly and without unnecessary complexity.

The essential documents done correctly and coordinated with each other: who decides for you, who acts for you, and where everything goes. Explained in plain language, so you know how your plan works and why. A clear path to update as life and assets change.

What families build

The land, the home, the business

When an estate includes farm and ranch ground, mineral interests or a family business, the Lifetime Protection Plan Plus is built for it. This is what Oklahoma families spend a lifetime building.

How it works

The Three Step Strategy

The method behind every plan we build, and the reason ours keep working.

01

We counsel, then we design

We start by learning your family, your values, and your goals, then design a personalized plan around them. If you teach us about your family, we will teach you about the law.

02

We keep it current

Life changes. So does the law. Through our Estate Planners for Life™ maintenance membership, your plan is reviewed and updated as your family, your assets, and the rules evolve.

03

We make sure it works

When your plan is needed, we are there to settle it correctly, guiding your family through administration so your wealth, and your wisdom, reach the people you love.

The membership

Estate Planners for Life™ from the day your plan is done

There is nothing to enroll in and nothing extra to choose. When your Lifetime Protection Plan is complete you are part of Estate Planners for Life™, and you stay part of it unless you tell us otherwise.

It is how the plan is looked after, not an add-on sold alongside it. Families stay in it year after year, because staying is the default and leaving takes a phone call.

Questions about the plans

What families ask before choosing a plan

How our plans differ, what the maintenance membership actually does, and how to tell which one fits your family.

What is the Lifetime Protection Plan?

The Lifetime Protection Plan is our flagship estate plan, and it is a relationship rather than a transaction. We design a coordinated plan around your family, then keep it current as the law, your assets and your life change, so it still works on the day your family actually needs it. It is the heart of what we call Estate Planners for Life.

What is the difference between the Lifetime Protection Plan and LPP Plus?

They are the same plan. The only difference is how complicated the estate is. A home, a retirement account, life insurance, a couple of cars and a couple of bank accounts is a Lifetime Protection Plan. An operating business, farm or ranch land, several real-estate holdings, significant mineral interests or a blended family with competing loyalties means the same plan takes deeper design work, and we call that LPP Plus. You do not have to work out which one you are. That is our job on the Right Fit Call.

Do we have to sign up for the Estate Planners for Life maintenance program?

There is nothing to sign up for. Every family with a Lifetime Protection Plan is part of Estate Planners for Life™ from the day the plan is complete, and stays part of it unless they tell us to stop. It is how the plan is looked after, not an add-on sold alongside it. More than nine in ten families carry on with it year after year. If you ever want to take the reviews on yourself, tell us and we will hand you exactly what needs checking and how often, so the responsibility is deliberate rather than accidental.

How is this different from a will package I could buy online?

An online package sells you documents. The documents are usually the easy part. What it cannot do is ask why you are worried about one child and not another, notice that your beneficiary designations contradict the will you just bought, tell you that your trust is worthless until the house is actually retitled into it, or be there in ten years when the plan is finally needed. Those four things are most of the value, and none of them are drafting.

What is the Elder Protection Plan, and when is it too late to do one?

The Elder Protection Plan is built for families approaching or already facing the cost of long-term care, and it addresses Medicaid eligibility, nursing-home costs and protecting the home so a spouse is cared for and an inheritance still reaches the children. Timing matters: SoonerCare, Oklahoma's Medicaid program, looks back 60 months at transfers when deciding long-term-care eligibility. Planning earlier gives a family far more room, but a crisis is not the end of the options, and it is worth calling.

Can we start with a simpler plan and upgrade later?

Yes, and many families do. Our Personal and Family Protection Plans build a focused, well-made foundation, the essential documents done correctly and coordinated with each other, with a clear path to upgrade as your life and estate grow. We would rather build the right first step with you now than sell you complexity you do not need yet.
